The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
