۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
