What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to exchange them with others better than they; nothing can outstrip Us! 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised. 44
