Al-Isra 8 of 12
On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 for whoever is blind [of heart] in this [world] will be blind in the life to come [as well,] and still farther astray from the path [of truth]. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 Had We not strengthened your faith you might have relied on them some how. 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
