And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
