And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty." 12 Had We Willed, We would have guided every soul. But My Word shall be realized, 'I will fill Gehenna (Hell) with jinn and people all together' 13 So taste the chastisement on account of your forgetting the encounter of this Day. We, too, have forgotten you. Taste the eternal chastisement as a requital for your misdeeds.” 14 Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant. ۩ 15 Their sides stay detached from their beds and they pray to their Lord with fear and hope – and they spend from what We have bestowed upon them. 16 And [as for all such believers,] no human being can imagine what blissful delights, as yet hidden, await them [in the life to come] as a reward for all that they did. 17 Is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor? No, they are not alike. 18 As for those who believe and do good, the gardens are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did. 19 And as for those who transgress their abode is the Fire. So oft as they desire to get thereout, they shall be sent back thereto; and it will be said unto them: taste the torment of the Fire which ye were wont to belie. 20 But We will let them taste the nearest punishment (in this life) before the greater punishment, so that they may return (to faith). 21 Who is more wicked than he who is reminded of his Lord's revelations yet turns away from them; We will surely requite the sinners. 22
