Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 (and be told): “Taste your ordeal! This is what you were seeking to hasten.” 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
