The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
O thou enveloped! 1 Arise and warn! 2 Glorify your Lord, 3 purify your garments; 4 And uncleanliness avoid 5 and do not think that by doing such deeds, you have done a great favor to God. 6 But for your Lord be patient. 7 And when the trumpet is blown, 8 Surely that day will be a day of anguish, 9 Not of ease, for disbelievers. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 And gave him vast wealth. 12 And sons present by his side. 13 and made all things smooth for him; 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 Not at all! Surely, he has been disobedient to Our verses. 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 He planned and plotted. 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 Let him be destroyed. How he calculated! 20 Then he looked, 21 Then frowned he and scowled. 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 said, "This (the Quran) is nothing but magic, inherited from ancient magicians. 24 “This is nothing but the speech of a man.” 25 Him shall I soon roast in Hell. 26 Would that you really knew what hell is! 27 It leaveth naught; it spareth naught 28 It shrivelleth the man. 29 Over it are appointed nineteen. 30 And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Quran is the truth as it agrees with their Books i.e. their number (19) is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and the believers may increase in Faith (as this Quran is the truth) and that no doubts may be left for the people of the Scripture and the believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say: "What Allah intends by this (curious) example?" Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning) reminder to mankind. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
