NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 a warning to humans, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 except the people of the right hand 39 in Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
