HENCE, [remember how it was] when thy Sustainer summoned Moses: "Go unto those evil doing people. 10 “The nation of Firaun; will they not fear?” 11 Moses replied, "My Lord, I fear they will reject me, 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 'If you take any other god except myself' he (Pharaoh) replied, 'you shall be thrown into prison' 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
