And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
