Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 They used to say: 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
