And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 and gave them signs wherein there was a manifest trial. 33 Yet these say: 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our fathers [back], if what you say is true. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The day on which, no friends will benefit each other at all, nor will they be helped. (Except those who are pious – see verse 43:67) 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
