Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
