Verily for the God-fearing is an achievement. 31 and gardens and vineyards, 32 and splendid companions well matched, 33 and a cup [of happiness] overflowing. 34 There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying - 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all whatever is between them – the Most Gracious – with Whom no one will have the right to talk. 37 On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right. 38 That is the True Day; therefore whoever wills may take the path towards his Lord. 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
