And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
