Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
