Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a straight path, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
