Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And every human being will come forward with [his erstwhile] inner urges and [his] conscious mind, 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
