The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O thou enveloped in thy cloak, 1 Arise and deliver thy warning! 2 proclaim the greatness of your Lord, 3 And keep your clothes clean. 4 And keep away from Ar-Rujz (the idols)! 5 And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase, 6 And persevere in the way of your Lord. 7 Then, when the Trumpet is sounded (i.e. its second blowing); 8 So that is a tough day. 9 and for the disbelievers, in particular, it will not be at all easy. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 And give him vast riches, 12 and sons standing before him, 13 and whom I have provided with every resource, 14 Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- 15 Never! For he is an enemy to Our signs! 16 I will constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 For he thought and he plotted;- 18 death seized him, how was his determining! 19 Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 20 Then he looked, 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then turned he back, and grew stiff-necked. 23 And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]. 24 "This is nothing but the word of a mortal!" 25 Anon shall I roast him into the Scorching Fire. 26 What do you think Hell-fire is? 27 It does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die; 28 It scorches people's skin 29 and it has nineteen angelic keepers. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
