The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
