۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 This is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 Those will have a provision determined - 41 Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes, 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 One of them will say, "I had a companion who asked me, 51 'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment? 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Then, are we not to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Truly, this is a great victory!" 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 and its fruits are like devils' heads. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqum in their bellies). 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
