To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Moon (Al-Qamar). Sent down in Mecca after The Comet (Al-Taareq) before S (Saad)
