Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
