The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
