Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
