The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and thereof is some crooked; and had He willed He would have guided you all. 9
