The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
