۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
