The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
