Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 that he may warn him who is alive and establish an argument against those that deny the Truth. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat; 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Does not man see that We created him from a drop. Yet there he is, flagrantly contentious, 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith. 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. 82 So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. 83
