Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
