Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
