Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
