The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
