The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
