"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
