Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
