Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
