"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
