And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel. 23 And We made some leaders among them, guiding by Our command, when they had persevered; and they used to accept faith in Our signs. 24 Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, in the matters wherein they differ (among themselves) 25 Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen? 26 Do they not see that We drive the water to a land having no herbage, then We bring forth thereby seed-produce of which their cattle and they themselves eat; will they not then see? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved." 29 So turn away from them, and wait: they too are waiting. 30
