Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Quran, Verse 21:87). 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
