The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
