We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
