Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
