Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 For the living and the dead. 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
