The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Now, verily, He [who thus creates man in the first instance] is well able to bring him back [to life] 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
