۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
