O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
