Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 The living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
