In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To clear or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 till a known term decreed? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
